Customer FeedbackWhat customers say about trip

Wae Rebo Village could also be called a village above the clouds because of its location at a high altitude and among the hills shaped like frying pans. To get here, it can only be accessed by walking for 5 km or 2.5 to 3 hours from the last asphalt road. It is recommended not to climb during the rain because in my experience climbing during rain, there are many landslides. After completing the climb, we will be greeted by traditional leaders and performed traditional ceremonies.

We made our way to Ruteng by shared bus. The Guide, was very helpful and provided us with a hand-drawn but reliable map.

Getting here wasn't easy, especially since I'm a novice hiker. It took me 5-6 hours to get from the gate to Wae Rebo village. It was an incredible experience to be welcomed warmly by the village. In a truly extraordinary house, and with beautiful views, of course!
